• Execute the overall growth strategy for the region • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop 6–9 account managers and molecular oncology specialists • Meet or exceed direct sales revenue targets • Develop regional sales strategies and strategic plans for the assigned territory • Establish senior-level relationships within key accounts • Build, train, and manage a sales team to meet volume and revenue objectives • Provide marketplace feedback and visibility on industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights • Build cross-functional relationships supporting product development, pipeline management, compensation plans, sales reporting, and revenue forecasting • Communicate regional information to the Area Vice President of Oncology Sales • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients • Advise senior management on client and market concerns • Maintain knowledge of competitive products, services, technology solutions, and reimbursement/billing issues • Submit required travel, activity, expense, and service reports • Support physicians with ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform and QC report quality/accuracy, potentially accessing PHI • Provide meeting and trade show support • Perform other related duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university • 5+ years of prior people leadership preferred • Understanding of the oncology, pathology and/or diagnostic market • Understanding of physician client relationships and oncology service and technology needs • Proven success with large, global, brand marketers and agencies • General understanding of healthcare-related business policies and practices • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet for business use • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a complex, matrix, team-oriented, collaborative environment • Ability to multitask, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines • Proven problem management, process analysis, and root cause analysis abilities • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance meeting Caris requirements • Willingness to travel regularly, locally or on day trips, to meet clients and prospects • Ability to spend 50% of time in the field meeting clients and prospects • Ability to sit, stand, and/or work at a computer for long periods • Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification
