📋 Description

• Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment execution, credit applications, vendor management, and account reconciliation • Supervise and mentor a team of three to four AP associates • Monitor compliance with company policies, tax regulations, accounting standards, W-9 requirements, and 1099 reporting • Identify, recommend, and implement AP process improvements, automation, and system enhancements • Develop and maintain vendor relationships and resolve invoicing, payment, and discrepancy issues • Support month-end close through AP reconciliations, accruals, and reports • Prepare and analyze AP reports on cash flow, payment cycles, and vendor performance • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to maintain and improve Bill.com, Microsoft Dynamics, and other AP systems • Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits • Develop training materials and standard operating procedures • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations to streamline processes and support business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of accounts payable experience • Supervisory experience leading and mentoring an AP team • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth companies, ideally in e-commerce or technology • Proficiency with AP tools such as Bill.com, Microsoft Dynamics, and other ERP systems • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex data analysis • Proven process improvement experience • Knowledge of AP tax compliance, including W-9 and 1099 reporting • Experience with automation tools • Project management experience for AP-related projects, system upgrades, or process overhauls • CPA or CMA certification is a plus, not required • Experience with multi-entity or multi-location businesses is a plus • Familiarity with international payments, vendors, and currencies is a plus • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must not require current or future Cart.com sponsorship or visa transfer
