📋 Description

• Provide mental health assessments and teletherapy to K-12 students and school staff in partner school districts • Participate in case discussions with other Cartwheel team members • Support students and families with transition to community care providers • Build collaborative relationships with school leadership, staff, students, and families • Meet and communicate regularly with school staff • Work as part of an interdisciplinary care team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and school health professionals

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, or Family and Child Counseling • Active license in Alaska to deliver mental health care (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LMFT) • Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing • Experience delivering care via telehealth • Strong technological skills and ability to learn new systems • Experience with G-Suite, electronic health record systems, and other collaboration tools • Access to reliable, high-speed internet (50 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload) • Ability to offer hours during and especially after school (e.g., 3-8 pm Eastern Time) • Alaska residency strongly preferred • Fluency in other languages (e.g., Yup’ik, Iñupiaq, Tlingit, or Spanish) (extra credit) • Experience working in Alaska Native and rural communities (extra credit) • Experience with parent guidance (extra credit) • Active NPI number (extra credit) • CAQH credentialing set up (extra credit) • Passion for working with schools on youth mental health and helping build a new care model for Alaska • Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
