📋 Description

• Provide mental health assessments and skills-based teletherapy to elementary, middle, and high school students • Collaborate with referring school counselors and other relevant providers through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings • Build trusted relationships with school staff and families to support students’ mental health and school engagement • Provide psycho-education and support to parents and caregivers • Collaborate with Cartwheel MDs/NPs on treatment planning, care delivery, and transition planning • Partner with the External Referrals team to identify referrals to community mental health and primary care providers • Participate in case consultations and discussions with Cartwheel team members • Help build Cartwheel’s clinical programming and Care Team

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, or Family and Child Counseling • Active license in Louisiana to deliver mental health care independently without supervision (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD, etc.) • Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing • Experience delivering care via telehealth • Strong technological skills and ability to learn new systems, including Zoom, GSuite, electronic health record systems, and other collaboration tools • Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection (50 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload) • Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to deliver care during peak hours (Mon-Fri 3-8 pm ET and Sat 8-5) • Fluency in other languages such as Spanish or Portuguese is extra credit • Experience working in a shorter-term model of care delivery is extra credit • Experience with parent guidance is extra credit • Active NPI number is extra credit • CAQH credentialing set up is extra credit • Must provide acceptable documentation to verify identity and work authorization
