📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate software release management processes and activities across multiple projects • Create and manage the release calendar across concurrent projects • Coordinate release scope, sequencing, and dependencies with development, QA, and UAT teams • Lead release planning and go/no-go meetings • Define and enforce release readiness criteria, approval gates, and rollback plans • Refine release management practices and templates for consistency and scalability • Supervise deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments • Maintain release notes, change logs, and post-release performance reports • Identify, track, mitigate, communicate, and escalate release risks • Monitor post-release activities and facilitate rapid issue resolution • Deliver feedback to improve the release lifecycle • Report to the Program Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in release management, deployment coordination, or similar roles within software implementation or technology consulting environments • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • ITIL certification or equivalent expertise • Must be able to pass a background check; additional project/client background checks may be required • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail • Ability to analyze systems and procedures • Strong multitasking skills managing multiple design streams across concurrent work efforts • Ability to work independently and on a multifunctional team • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately • Strong understanding of SDLC, environment management, and change control processes • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar platforms • Ability to manage multiple release schedules simultaneously in high-pressure scenarios • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience working with federal or state government agencies is preferred
