📋 Description
• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients • Take statements and issue lost wage payments • Complete state filings and deny claims when appropriate • Handle subrogation and manage litigation • Communicate with CEOs, claimants, providers offices, and attorneys • Work independently and in a team environment
🎯 Requirements
• Must be located in California • Prior workers’ compensation adjusting experience required • Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster • License/state experience in California and possession of SIP • Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software
