📋 Description

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients • Communicate with CEOs, claimants, provider offices, and attorneys • Take statements • Issue lost wage payments • Complete state filings • Deny claims • Handle subrogation • Manage litigation

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located in California • Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster • Prior workers’ compensation adjusting experience, including taking statements, issuing lost wage payments, completing state filings, denying claims, handling subrogation, and managing litigation • License/state experience in California and possession of a SIP • Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software
