📋 Description

• Handle all stages of responses to subpoenas, summonses, and third-party information requests • Manage document collections, reviews, and legal hold processes • Manage litigation and administrative proceedings against the Firm • Draft state-specific settlement and confidentiality agreements • Direct and oversee outside counsel, including litigation strategy, budgeting, case management, and settlement negotiation • Represent the Firm in client disputes • Draft, review, and negotiate client and vendor agreements • Provide legal counsel on employee relations, performance management, accommodations, leaves of absence, wage and hour issues, restrictive covenants, and workforce reductions • Advise People & Culture, Risk Management, and business leaders on employment-law compliance • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to address legal risks and support strategic business initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing litigation, agency charges, investigations, and dispute resolution • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school • Active license to practice law, in good standing, in the state of employment, or eligibility for admission by waiver or in-house counsel registration • Prior in-house counsel experience and/or law firm practice required • Prior data privacy experience preferred • Prior government contracting experience preferred • Prior experience practicing labor and employment law preferred • Eligibility to work in the United States • Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship for this position
