📋 Description

• Implement, onboard, and operationalize Managed Services for customers in regulated Government Cloud environments • Implement Government Cloud tools, processes, operational standards, and secure cloud landing zones across Azure Government/Azure GCC High, AWS GovCloud, and Google Cloud Assured Workloads • Support customer onboarding, implementation, transition readiness, operational acceptance, and production handoff • Follow change management, security, testing, validation, and deployment processes • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as required • Develop architecture validation, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge articles • Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, backup, disaster recovery, and operational management solutions • Configure cloud governance, identity, networking, security controls, logging, and operational standards • Build repeatable automation using Infrastructure as Code, scripting, configuration management, and orchestration technologies • Participate in customer design reviews, implementation workshops, technical planning sessions, and operational readiness reviews • Communicate technical issues, implementation risks, recommendations, and project status • Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Security Engineering, Customer Success, Managed Operations, and Sales Engineering • Validate operational readiness before production support transition • Support security reviews, compliance validation, audit requests, and required Government Cloud controls • Maintain relevant cloud, security, automation, and Government Cloud certifications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of IT engineering experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, systems, networking, or platform engineering OR 7+ years of equivalent professional IT engineering experience • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud • Understanding of Government Cloud operational models, Managed Services delivery, and customer onboarding processes • Working knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking, identity, backup, and disaster recovery concepts • Ability to resolve customer-impacting issues while balancing project priorities, service level commitments, and operational requirements • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong customer-service orientation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills • Certain customer workloads may require U.S. citizenship • Experience supporting public sector cloud environments, a plus • Advanced-level certifications in at least two major cloud providers, a plus • Experience creating implementation plans, operational runbooks, knowledge documentation, and operational handoff documentation, a plus • Experience with enterprise multi-cloud environments, Managed Services environments, ITSM, observability, Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and cloud management platforms, a plus • Experience designing and implementing secure cloud landing zones, cloud governance, networking, identity, monitoring, automation, backup, and disaster recovery solutions, a plus • Working knowledge of Government security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CMMC, CJIS, or ITAR, a plus
