📋 Description

• Independently perform IT audits on complex information systems, applications, and enclaves • Ensure appropriate controls exist, are correctly implemented, and procedures comply with Federal and DoD standards • Evaluate the required level of security • Perform procedures to protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction • Work across all phases of information systems auditing at the highest level • Provide technical support for vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, and security implementation • Evaluate customer systems and assist with security improvements • Conduct cybersecurity control validation exercises on classified and unclassified networks, applications, and systems • Validate the effectiveness of current security measures • Weigh business needs against security concerns and analyze mitigations against security requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Three (3) years of experience working with DODI 8500.2 or NIST SP 800-53 • Understanding of the principles of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) • Two (2) years of experience with eMASS • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint • Strong skills implementing and configuring networks and network components • Experience weighing business needs against security concerns • Experience analyzing applied mitigations to evaluate whether they meet security requirements • Active DoD Secret clearance
