📋 Description

• Independently manage low- to medium-complexity technology projects using CDW-G’s established delivery methodology and project management templates • Own day-to-day project delivery from initiation through closure • Work with sales, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and cross-functional delivery teams • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, contractual deliverables, risks, issues, quality, and stakeholder expectations • Ensure client business, technical, contractual, and operational requirements are understood and addressed • Identify stakeholders, confirm success criteria and expectations, and involve stakeholders in project decisions • Monitor and communicate project budgets, actuals, forecasts, and estimates at completion; escalate variances and support corrective actions • Track, review, and approve project time, expenses, invoices, and financial records • Validate scope, assumptions, estimates, deliverables, and acceptance criteria; manage change control • Ensure Statement of Work items are delivered and perform quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle • Identify, analyze, document, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies • Develop and communicate project schedules, tasks, milestones, and dependencies • Support resource planning and manage equipment, software, licensing, outside services procurement, and delivery schedules • Ensure contractual performance requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria, milestones, and due dates are met • Ensure compliance with corporate, client, and government policies and requirements • Apply knowledge of government contract vehicles, Blanket Purchase Agreements, purchasing vehicles, and acquisition requirements • Support Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Cost Plus, and As-a-Service projects • Establish task ownership, follow up on responsibilities, and contribute to continuous improvement of project management standards and tools • Maintain project documentation including schedules, status reports, budgets, quality plans, risk and issue logs, decision records, action items, and closure documentation • Communicate project updates to clients, sales, delivery teams, and stakeholders; escalate decisions and issues requiring leadership support • Lead in-person and virtual project meetings and distribute timely follow-up communications • Negotiate project changes involving cost, scope, schedule, effort, or resource commitments • Gather information, assess project impacts, identify response options, document mitigation steps, and communicate decisions • Document project outcomes and lessons learned and share them with colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Three years of experience delivering technology through structured Project Management methodologies such as waterfall or agile • Two or more years of experience leading significant projects within a single technology solution area • Demonstrated ability to manage low- to medium-complexity technology projects and take accountability for assigned project outcomes • Experience supporting projects for enterprise, strategic, or government customers • Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, scope, risks, issues, changes, and contractual deliverables within established parameters • Working knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and related project management tools • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills • Ability to participate productively in virtual teams and contribute to improvements in project management processes • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion • Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines • Ability to work weekends or outside standard business hours when necessary to meet client needs • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations, meetings, and client sites • PMP certification required, is a plus • Active DoD Secret clearance strongly preferred, is a plus • Familiarity with government contracts, acquisition processes, and government programs, is a plus • Familiarity with FISMA and FedRAMP requirements, is a plus • Business and technical acumen related to Federal initiatives, is a plus • Experience supporting business value or impact analysis, is a plus
