📋 Description

• Partner with the sales team throughout the sales cycle for PhoenixAI’s Agentic Database • Guide prospects through technical evaluations • Deliver technical presentations and customized demonstrations • Architect tailored AI-native solutions • Act as a trusted technical advisor by showcasing the vectorized query engine, lakehouse analytics, and multi-table joins for agentic AI workloads • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Proofs of Concept • Understand prospect needs, including data scale, latency, and integrations • Maintain detailed evaluation records covering use cases, challenges, PoC plans, and outcomes • Collaborate with sales to align technical discussions with business goals, address objections, and close deals • Gather customer insights to inform the Agentic Database roadmap with product and engineering teams • Deliver webinars, staff conference booths, speak at user groups, and write blogs on Agentic AI use cases and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, ideally within the data analytics, database, or cloud infrastructure space • Hands-on experience of OLAP workloads, query optimization, and data modeling, including star schema and snowflake schema • Proficiency in SQL • Deep understanding of distributed data processing system theory • Familiarity with at least one public cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure • Proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for engineers through C-level executives • Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges during PoCs and adapt solutions to unique customer needs • Experience supporting sales teams in technical evaluations, with a track record of securing technical wins and driving revenue growth • Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Looker is a bonus • Experience with streaming processing systems such as Kafka or Redpanda is a bonus
