CEMD is a non-profit organization (a fiscally sponsored project of Cambiar Education) that collects, analyzes, and publishes data on K–12 curriculum adoption and instructional materials to make the U. 📋 Description

• Lead analyses of CEMD aggregated data from question framing through cleaning, analysis, written findings, and insights • Establish methods for delivering project insights and results • Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders • Improve data collection and validation through documentation, QA checks, and reproducible GitHub code • Develop knowledge of key internal and external datasets • Extract and analyze data and present quantitative analysis to stakeholders • Translate data into visualizations and dashboards for decision-making • Craft recommendations for project plans and research tasks • Solve ambiguous problems and drive projects forward • Elevate new insights and recommend research and analysis in partnership with the Research Manager • Communicate across teams to advance aligned objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working in K-12 Education systems, school districts, state education agencies, or organizations serving the K-12 market • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and synthesize datasets • Experience writing complex SQL, including multi-table joins and window functions • Experience reshaping datasets in R or Python • Experience creating dashboards using Tableau • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or QuickSight • Experience automating data connections across multiple systems • Experience with version control systems, including GitHub • Bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or research • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines • Ability to communicate complex research as accessible insights • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across different time zones • Core working days and hours Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, with flexibility according to workload and meetings
