📋 Description

• Provide procurement support for selected suppliers • Action inventory reports and update corporate item statuses • Process transfers, edits to previous orders, and special orders • Perform inventory management activities under the mentorship of the Buyer • Maintain open purchase order status by obtaining tracking information and updating item notes • Support buyer service-level objectives • Suggest and recommend replenishment process improvements • Resolve issues independently • Mentor and train other employees • Assist with product returns to support buyers’ overstock inventory objectives • Recommend process enhancements and mentor team members to improve consistency and effectiveness in replenishment operations • Perform related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Broad training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education • Strong customer service skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Good decision-making skills • Good analytical skills • Leadership qualities and ability to effectively train others • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy • Effective oral and written communication • Strong typing and 10-key skills • Ability to resolve issues independently • Ability to mentor and train other employees • Minimal travel may be required
