📋 Description

• Formulate and execute a strategic plan for a cross-MSO research capability • Assess current research capabilities across MSOs, identifying strengths, gaps, and redundancies • Design a future-state operating model balancing platform-level shared services with MSO-specific needs • Build the business case for platform-level research infrastructure, including investment, ROI, and revenue impact • Map research functions, teams, technology, and processes across MSOs • Define frameworks for evaluating platform-versus-MSO placement of research capabilities • Partner with Data & AI and IT Infrastructure Affinity Groups on technology and analytics needs • Translate the operating model into a phased implementation roadmap • Lead execution of platform strategy initiatives across cross-functional teams and MSO stakeholders • Stand up pilot programs for proposed shared-services models • Manage interdependencies across MSOs, Affinity Groups, and the Strategic Operating Group • Establish governance mechanisms for the research platform • Build relationships with MSO leadership and secure buy-in • Liaise between the Head of Clinical Trial Services and MSO/Affinity Group stakeholders • Communicate strategy, progress, recommendations, trade-offs, and risks to senior leadership • Define and monitor success metrics, including revenue growth, trial volume, and efficiency gains • Refine the strategy based on performance data and stakeholder feedback • Capture lessons learned and develop reusable frameworks and playbooks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare management, business administration, or a related field • 8+ years of experience in clinical research, healthcare strategy, management consulting, or a related field • Experience designing or scaling operating models across multiple business units • Experience in a private-equity-backed, multi-site, or platform/roll-up healthcare environment strongly preferred • Ability to translate strategy into actionable, milestone-driven execution plans with limited oversight • Ability to evaluate complex cross-organizational problems and design scalable operating models • Strong capability to assess current-state capabilities, build business cases, and use data to inform platform design decisions • Ability to build alignment among peers, MSO leaders, and cross-functional partners without direct authority • Program management skills, including structured plans with milestones, owners, and accountability mechanisms • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations for senior leadership • Working knowledge of clinical trial operations, regulatory considerations, and specialty/value-based care models
