📋 Description

• Identify training needs to enhance performance, quality, and motivation of corporate and field staff for the Quality department • Develop, conduct, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs • Manage activities related to training and educational programs for the Quality department • Assess and identify individual or group training needs • Prepare training aids and materials • Determine whether to contract with outside vendors to accomplish training goals and objectives • Analyze training program effectiveness and submit reports and recommendations to management • Prepare and approve budgets and travel plans

🎯 Requirements

• Nursing license highly preferred • 2+ years of experience with STAR measures • 3+ years of experience in HEDIS • 2+ years of experience with supplemental and medical record review activities • 2+ years of leadership experience • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience • 5+ years of training experience within the hiring department’s function • Preferably experience in a managed care/insurance environment • Familiarity with computer-based training tools, vendors and technology-based training platforms • Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning styles, and evaluative methodologies for measuring organizational impact and ROI of training expenditures • Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross-functional teams on large-scale projects, or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing staff
