📋 Description

• Prepare and maintain monthly estimates of inpatient incurred but not reported (IP IBNR) expenses • Collaborate with the Utilization Management team to review inpatient authorization data and establish a recurring validation process • Develop and maintain standardized review processes and reporting for inpatient spend • Analyze key drivers contributing to budget and forecast variances • Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for IP spend • Oversee financial and business analyses based on information from various sources and financial reports • Interpret financial reports for management team • Review and evaluate analyses and recommend appropriate actions to senior management • Prepare budgets and forecasts and analyze financial results related to IP claims and authorization • Monitor legislative and political developments affecting the business unit from a financial perspective

🎯 Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of accounting, financial analysis or finance related experience • Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff • Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis preferred • Experience in healthcare insurance strongly preferred • CPA preferred
