CHI promotes group medical visits—especially through pregnancy and early childhood—aimed at reducing preterm birth and racial disparities in maternal outcomes by combining medical care, patient education, peer support, and connections to community resources. With over two decades of experience, CHI has scaled the Centering model to roughly 480 sites across more than 40 U. S. states and territories and supports providers with training, resources, and an evidence-based framework for billable group visits. The organization is based in Boston and partners with healthcare providers and institutions to expand access and improve outcomes for families.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction and clinical leadership to Centering sites, the Practice Transformation department, and the organization • Oversee day-to-day clinical and program operations, including budget management, program development, strategic planning, and operational decision-making • Promote accountability, continuous improvement, person-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration • Partner with leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with organizational goals • Support expansion within existing partner organizations and drive innovative implementation solutions • Develop and monitor quality improvement initiatives and analyze program outcomes, patient experience measures, participation rates, and performance indicators • Lead quality improvement activities and participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews • Support evaluation and reporting for grants, contracts, and strategic initiatives • Develop relationships with clinical and operational leaders at partner organizations • Facilitate meetings with physicians, nurses, midwives, behavioral health professionals, and practice administrators • Guide the Implementation Advisor team on clinical integration • Support partners in addressing implementation challenges and achieving performance goals • Support business development, community outreach, educational events, and relationship-building activities • Develop and improve products, services, training materials, and clinical collateral • Provide clinical expertise for proposals, presentations, educational materials, and partner-facing resources • Build relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, governmental agencies, and referral partners • Participate in organizational planning and strategic initiatives • Collaborate on funding proposals, funder presentations, and grant collateral • Report to the CEO, with a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officer and People & Culture

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Physician’s Assistant (PA), Doctor of Medicine (MD), or Doctor of Osteopathic (OD) • 7+ years of health system experience or comparable • Experience in implementation science and national dissemination of evidence-based programs and practices • Experience educating, coaching, and influencing healthcare providers and clinical teams • Experience interpreting clinical and operational data to improve patient outcomes and program performance • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems and value-based care models • Experience using outcome measures and performance data to drive improvement • Strong clinical leadership and consultation skills • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills • Strong project management and organizational skills • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual collaboration tools • Commitment to advancing equitable healthcare outcomes and improving access to high-quality care for underserved and marginalized populations
