📋 Description

• Manage vendor service-level agreements, billing guidelines, and vendor onboarding/offboarding • Handle vendor assessment, recommendations, and the vendor contract process • Oversee daily vendor operations supporting the claims department • Identify training needs and collaborate with the Claims Vendor Supervisor • Perform vendor onboarding from evaluation through contract execution and final activation • Develop and maintain standard metrics for vendor performance, invoice review, and fee schedule contracts • Request, maintain, and document compliance certificates for Independent Adjusters • Monitor catastrophe and storm surge activity to ensure adequate independent adjuster coverage • Collaborate with other departments when a State of Emergency is declared • Maintain strategic vendor relationships to address immediate and emerging needs • Partner with Claims Quality Assurance to review vendor audits and identify trends and improvement areas • Conduct Quarterly Business Review meetings with vendors and bi-weekly checkpoint meetings with Field IA vendors • Collaborate with Training to identify and recommend sessions for Independent Adjusters • Adhere to Federal and State laws and regulations • Support the CA FAIR Plan Association’s mission, values, and strategic objectives • Oversee projects during catastrophic events or States of Emergency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • 5+ years’ experience in property claims, including experience in large loss property claims • Ability to review contracts and execute the contract negotiation process • 3+ years’ experience collaborating with vendors and reviewing performance/quality of vendor work product • Exceptional analysis, writing and presenting skills • Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations & SIU Certification • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and writing skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Products • Must be available to work outside regular business hours and oversee projects during catastrophic events or States of Emergency
