📋 Description

• Support the financial operations of the PACE organization • Process and code vendor, contractor, service provider, healthcare, and program-related invoices • Create and enter private-pay and miscellaneous billing invoices • Assist with vendor onboarding and maintain W-9 and Vendor NPI information • Assist members and vendors with insurance questions and documentation • Review, reconcile, and balance Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer payments • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances • Maintain reimbursement tracking and payment reconciliation records • Assist with month-end journal entries, General Ledger transactions, financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Support monthly and annual closing activities • Review check registers and financial data from Third-Party Administrators • Monitor expenditures and identify discrepancies or unusual variances • Assist with financial analysis and budget tracking • Communicate with vendors and serve as liaison with TPAs to resolve payment, billing, claims, and reporting issues • Maintain patient risk score data and organized financial records for audits and reviews • Support continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls • Prepare and submit reports requested by PACE Leadership • Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, billing, or nonprofit financial operations • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Risk Score (HCC), or nonprofit accounting preferred • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Consent to drug and/or alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment • Eligibility verification through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse after a conditional offer and ongoing eligibility
