📋 Description

• Steward existing mid-level donors and build relationships to qualify and cultivate future major gift supporters • Curate a portfolio of engaged and inspired charity: water donors • Cultivate, pitch, and steward existing and prospective mid-level donors giving $6K-$10K annually • Build meaningful relationships with supporters by phone or video • Communicate organizational priorities and donor impact • Manage a portfolio of approximately 350-600 mid-level gift supporters • Raise $1-$3M in total annual revenue within 12-18 months of onboarding • Identify approximately 100 donors likely to respond to personal engagement • Qualify, prospect, cultivate, and develop a pipeline of donors capable of giving above $10K • Transition qualified donors to major gifts fundraisers in the US • Cultivate long-term relationships with individuals and families and encourage increased giving • Develop a metrics-driven portfolio strategy and maintain current CRM records • Use wealth screening or engagement scoring to prioritize outreach • Innovate ways to demonstrate donor return on investment and show appreciation • Become an expert on charity: water’s programmatic work and international WASH issues • Report to the Vice President of Key Relationships and collaborate with the Key Relationships team and wider organization

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree • 3+ years of frontline fundraising experience and a proven track record of closing gifts of $6,000 to 10,000 • A passion for charity: water’s mission • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; articulate and persuasive • Well-honed relationship-building skills and ability to connect with all types of people • Drive and sophistication • Proficiency with Salesforce as a CRM tool • Team-oriented mentality, enthusiastic work ethic, and openness to continually improve • Highly developed interpersonal skills and strong EQ • Ability to travel within the U.S. regularly • Experience successfully planning and executing large and small-scale events (added plus) • Familiarity working cross-departmentally with creative, design, and event teams (added plus)
