📋 Description

• Serve as primary liaison between grants, assigned World Relief country offices, and home office departments • Coordinate communication among consortium Program Management Unit, country office, and home office stakeholders • Ensure assigned countries’ compliance with World Relief and US government policies, procedures, CHS standards, and organizational core beliefs • Review portfolio strategies and plans and identify collaboration, capacity development, and investment opportunities • Share portfolio management best practices with International Programs colleagues • Lead grant and program compliance with US government, consortium, and World Relief knowledge management standards • Set up project administration in World Relief systems, including ERP, payroll, and Metrics Portal • Maintain internal grant tracking systems, including Proposal Pipeline, Active Award, and Reporting Trackers • Schedule and lead grant/program review calls • Support crisis information management and needs assessments • Liaise with technical advisors and home office stakeholders on program operations, management, quality, and closeout • Support monthly grant budget and KPI reviews • Support annual and rapid activation grant budget creation • Oversee general funds and portfolio cash flow needs • Quality-control internal reports, fund codes, and award pipelines • Facilitate collection and approval of portfolio content for publication • Present portfolio strategy, updates, and status reports to internal and external stakeholders, donors, and partners • Provide information for website updates, social media, conferences, and external engagements • Support SharePoint documentation and filing systems • Coordinate quarterly programmatic and financial reporting for all funding sources • Ensure compliance with DMEAL guidance and donor expectations • Coordinate, review, and develop sudden-onset activation concept papers and proposals • Review opportunities and schedule kick-off meetings for approved opportunities • Ensure assigned personnel contribute to proposal development • Ensure proposals follow World Relief guidance, including budget and technical review guidance • Provide budgeting support and review • Ensure partnership management compliance, including vetting, due diligence, and agreement management • Support trip planning and logistics • Assist the Program Lead with assigned special projects and other duties

🎯 Requirements

• Mature and personal Christian faith • Commitment to World Relief’s mission, vision, and values • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities • Ability to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief’s Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and National Association of Evangelicals’ For the Health of The Nation document • Humanitarian program implementation experience in fragile, conflict-affected, disaster-affected, or complex emergency contexts • Demonstrated experience supporting rapid humanitarian responses, including needs assessment, response strategy, partner selection, program design, implementation monitoring, and learning • Ability to lead through influence across country teams, regional leadership, home office functions, and external partners • Excellent written communication skills, including drafting concept notes, program design documents, donor narratives, decision memos, technical guidance, and internal briefings under time pressure • Comfort representing World Relief at external events, technical working groups, and international forums • College degree in a related field required • 3–5 years of relevant experience in international development, nonprofit, or mission work • Ability and willingness to travel extensively to fragile contexts with increased hardship or security risks • Language skills in French • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects • Ability to respond professionally and effectively to competing demands • Demonstrated task and project implementation aptitude • Strong record of completing tasks in a timely manner • Ability to handle basic financial procedures and spreadsheet functions • Excellent writing skills, preferably with proposal and project report writing experience • Commitment to serving international program needs expressed from the Country office • Proven ability to be a team player • Ability to facilitate system change/development with heavy team input • Self-starter, strongly motivated, and results-oriented • Strong interpersonal skills • Prior country office-based experience is a plus • Preferred: Master’s degree in management, humanitarian assistance, international development, or related field • Preferred: Experience managing remote and multi-location programs in complex humanitarian or fragile contexts • Preferred: Experience with consortium-led projects, lead agencies, partners, governance, and collaborative decision-making • Preferred: Direct experience with sudden-onset disaster, epidemic/outbreak, conflict-related displacement, public health emergency, or rapid response financing • Preferred: Experience developing emergency response concept notes, donor submissions, program design documents, DADDs, technical guidance, or internal decision/action documents
