Charles Lea Center is a nonprofit organization founded in 1965 in Spartanburg, South Carolina that empowers and supports people with disabilities through individualized, community-based services. The Center provides supportive living, work programs, case management, day programs, and other innovative services across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee, serving more than 3,000 people and employing over 700 staff. 📋 Description

• Assist with daily living skills, grooming, meals, personal care, and medication administration • Support individuals with disabilities in activities, community outings, and skill-building • Promote independence and dignity in every interaction • Document daily notes, training steps, and updates in Therap • Communicate important information to supervisors and team members • Follow safety, infection control, and agency policies • Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and positive interactions • Provide hands-on support in clients' homes and residential settings • Work at other Charles Lea Center sites as needed based on staffing and operational needs

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 • High school diploma or equivalent • 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred, including DSP, CNA, PCA, RBT, Med Tech, or Caregiver experience • Valid driver’s license and Social Security number • Basic computer and documentation skills • Ability to pass required background and reference checks • Ability to regularly stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and provide hands-on support • Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift with rotating weekends
