📋 Description

• Lead key client projects, largely focused on philanthropy, for prominent healthcare brands • Partner with client leaders to execute program tactics and develop materials, including interviewing clinicians and scientists, drafting fundraising proposals, and co-leading client workshops • Drive day-to-day strategy and execution of project work • Develop client strategies and program plans aligned with client objectives • Ensure project objectives are met on time with high-quality work • Lead communications and client partnerships; present client updates and plans • Establish and maintain client relationships and resolve issues • Write and review client-ready work • Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships • Advise and supervise internal teams daily • Manage weekly/monthly staff planning and tracking • Participate in new business development, pitches, pitch strategy, and proposal development • Capture and transfer best practices in client management • Participate in firm management meetings and discussions • Mentor teammates and provide professional and career development • Help identify qualified talent • Participate in Jarrard Academy training and development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field • Master’s degree is a plus • Proven expertise working within a health-related fundraising operation required • At least 5–7 years’ experience in a preferred combination of communications in fundraising, a professional services firm (healthcare focus preferred), and/or journalism • Strong communications foundation • Excellent donor-facing writing skills • Demonstrated project management experience • Ability to work remotely
