📋 Description

• Own high-priority, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from scoping and analysis through execution and measurement • Work directly with leaders across Check to define and prioritize critical strategic business questions • Identify operational bottlenecks and design process improvements that drive efficiency and margin • Develop and maintain operating metrics and reporting cadences • Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders • Apply AI tools and agents to analysis, reporting, and workflow design • Partner across the Finance team to drive impact and value • Build financial and analytical frameworks for major decisions • Work with stakeholders through execution of recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of total work experience • 2+ years in investment banking or consulting • 2+ years in a high-growth startup • Business Operations, Strategy & Ops, or Strategic Finance experience preferred • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills • Ability to distill complex, ambiguous issues into structured frameworks and clear recommendations • Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and shifting priorities • Ability to build relationships and drive alignment across functions and seniority levels • Familiarity with AI tools and agents to accelerate workflows • Experience in fintech, payments, or embedded/vertical SaaS is a bonus • SQL proficiency or equivalent analytical depth is a bonus • Eligibility to work in the United States
