📋 Description

• Serve as the primary manager responsible for successful delivery and performance of assigned contracts • Manage and oversee execution of contract requirements in accordance with PWS/SOW, task orders, modifications, and Government direction • Maintain accountability for contract deliverables, including development, coordination, quality review, submission, tracking, and acceptance • Establish and maintain contract schedules, milestones, action items, and performance tracking mechanisms • Coordinate contract staff, subcontractors, and supporting personnel • Monitor contract performance, staffing, workload, quality, schedule, and customer requirements; take corrective action when necessary • Serve as the primary day-to-day interface with Government/customer stakeholders • Review contract performance and communicate progress, risks, issues, and upcoming requirements to the Managing Director • Identify and escalate performance, staffing, schedule, technical, and customer issues • Maintain contract documentation, correspondence, deliverable records, meeting materials, and action-item logs • Coordinate status reports, briefings, presentations, meeting materials, and contract-required documentation • Track Government comments, questions, requests, and action items through resolution • Ensure work products meet contractual, technical, quality, and customer requirements • Support contract modifications, new requirements, changing customer priorities, transitions, onboarding, staffing changes, and surge requirements • Promote communication among contract personnel, Government stakeholders, subcontractors, and Cherokee corporate management • Provide regular contract-level performance updates and metrics to the Managing Director • Perform other contract management, program execution, and job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressively responsible Federal consulting, transformation, acquisition, program leadership, data, process, governance, change, or related experience • Demonstrated accountability for major workstreams, multi-disciplinary teams, executive stakeholders, quality, risk, and accepted outcomes • Exceptional problem framing, executive facilitation, writing, briefing, negotiation, and decision-support skills • Ability to integrate diverse disciplines and convert ambiguity into an executable operating approach • Demonstrated success developing people, reusable methods, trusted client relationships, and sustainable client capabilities • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
