📋 Description

• Analyze, design, integrate, test, implement, administer, and support the Symitar core banking system and related Host Services applications • Maintain, troubleshoot, configure, optimize, and administer Symitar production and development environments • Manage user, computer, and server access • Support Symitar releases, upgrades, service packs, mandates, data purges, scheduled downtime, integrations, data feeds, file transfers, vendor applications, and related Host Services applications • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues • Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerOn programs and PowerFrame Docs solutions • Administer and support In-House OpCon and EASE-hosted OpCon environments, including automated processing, scheduling, file transfers, workflows, and integrations • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency • Perform SQL querying and data analysis using ARCU and/or Databricks for troubleshooting, reporting, reconciliation, research, trend analysis, and operational improvement • Monitor ARCU Data Load processes and troubleshoot data issues • Monitor performance, provide advanced second-level support, perform root-cause analysis, prioritize issues, and implement sustainable solutions • Partner with business units to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and lead or support Symitar-related projects • Provide technical recommendations on scope, risk, dependencies, testing, deployment, and vendor integrations • Support the Host Services Manager with technical, operational, project, vendor, and administrative responsibilities • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Symitar, PowerOn, PowerFrame Docs, OpCon, OnBase, integrations, automation, and related technologies • Follow security, access-control, change-management, and operational procedures • Support audits, risk assessments, control testing, regulatory reporting, document retention, and compliance requirements • Mentor analysts and business partners; promote cross-training, knowledge sharing, documentation, and knowledgebase practices • Review technical solutions and encourage automation, modern development practices, and emerging technologies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of related information systems, core banking, or financial technology experience • Significant Jack Henry Symitar experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field preferred • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered • Experience with Symitar, PowerOn, PowerFrame Docs, SQL/ARCU and/or Databricks, OpCon, OnBase, EDS/SDS, integrations, automation, production support, and troubleshooting • Certifications or formal training in Symitar/Jack Henry, Hyland OnBase, and Continuous OpCon required or preferred based on role needs • Ability to lead technical projects, upgrades, hotfixes, mandates, compliance-sensitive work, vendor coordination, stakeholder communication, team mentorship, and competing priorities • Programming or scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar technologies • Credit union or financial institution experience, including familiarity with operational, regulatory, or compliance-related processes • Familiarity with Salesforce, Boomi Flow, Power BI, ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, cloud migrations, or IT portfolio planning • Ability to write and speak effectively in English using correct spelling and grammar • Basic math skills, including computing rates, ratios, and percentages using a 10-key • Proficiency with Windows-based applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Moderate keyboard skills at 40 wpm • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, communicate and collaborate at all levels, solve problems, make decisions, and prioritize • Extensive computer use, appropriate vision and dexterity, ability to occasionally push, pull, or carry up to 20 pounds • Ability to speak and present by telephone or digital communication tools such as Zoom and Teams • Travel may be required
