📋 Description

• Serve as technical owner and subject-matter expert for the HR systems stack • Translate People team processes into auditable architecture, design documentation, and process maps • Design and improve workflows for onboarding, offboarding, job and compensation changes, leave, benefits, payroll, compliance reporting, recruiting, and support intake • Define requirements and drive design for the Jira intake framework with IT • Apply AI and automation to self-service flows, document generation, data validation, ticket classification, and knowledge retrieval • Own integrations between HR tools, the business, and external vendors • Partner with IT to build and troubleshoot API- and file-based integrations • Script data movement and reconciliation and monitor integrations for failures • Own HR data integrity, audits, exception reports, source-of-truth definitions, and trusted reporting • Partner with IT, Compliance, and Security on permissions and audit trails • Design controls for SOC, 401(k), and internal reviews • Advise People Operations, Talent, Finance, IT, and Legal • Run implementations, upgrades, and redesigns as structured projects • Scope, sequence, communicate, and close projects with documentation and training • Hold vendors to specifications and build SOPs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience • Deep hands-on HR information systems configuration and administration experience • Ability to recommend and implement solutions • Experience working across multiple department teams • Demonstrated ability to configure systems for a functional domain • Working fluency with integrations and APIs • Atlassian/Jira proficiency, including building and administering projects, request types, workflows, automation rules, and reporting • Strong process design capability, including process mapping and workflow redesign • Practical experience using AI/automation tools • Advanced Excel/Sheets, reporting, data reconciliation, and data validation skills • Exceptional precision and follow-through • Clear written communication and documentation skills • Paylocity and Ashby experience is advantageous • Formal project management experience is advantageous • Scripting or query capability (SQL, Python, JavaScript) or iPaaS/low-code platform experience is advantageous • Experience building custom MCPs for AI integration is advantageous • Experience standing up or reconfiguring HR or internal-operations service delivery/ticketing models is advantageous • Experience in a high-growth or multi-state environment is advantageous • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or visa transfers • California and Massachusetts are excluded from hiring eligibility
