📋 Description

• Serve the credentialing needs of Children’s Minnesota and its Professional Staff • Help meet Joint Commission and National Committee for Quality Assurance standards • Enhance patient safety and quality of clinical care • Ensure professional staff members maintain current credentials and licenses to work legally in their field or specialty • Monitor upcoming credential and license renewal dates • Advise professional staff of required steps to maintain credentials • Adhere to Credentials Office policies and procedures • Follow policies on appointment, reappointment, and clinical privileges • Comply with the Professional Staff bylaws

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduation required • Associate degree or higher preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Administrative experience • Data entry experience • One or more years credentialing or medical administrative assistance experience preferred • CPCS and/or CPMSM certification preferred • Experience with credentialing professional staff files and processing primary source verifications preferred • Knowledge of credentialing regulations preferred • Familiarity with basic medical terminology preferred • Demonstrated organizational skills • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict procedural guidelines and timelines • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member • Ability to plan and prioritize to meet deadlines • Excellent customer service skills and clear, effective communication • Ability to work well under tight deadlines, respond to rapidly changing demands, and provide efficient follow-up • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and trust • Successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, and background investigation • Compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
