📋 Description
• Support accurate, complete and consistent coding practices • Apply correct ICD-9/ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes • Code inpatient procedure cases using ICD-10-PCS codes • Float to different coding areas as needed
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years medical record coding experience • Knowledge of DRG assignment and reimbursement regulations • Proficient with Windows based applications • One of the following: CCS-Certified Coding Specialist, RHIT-Registered Health Information Technician, RHIA-Registered Health Information Administrator • Knowledge of ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT classification systems
