📋 Description

• Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters. • Develop an expert-level understanding of client cases. • Prepare immigrant/non-immigrant petitions with in-depth knowledge of application processes and requirements, specifically in EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs. • Manage projects and deadlines, and prepare and revise documents. • Explain legal terminology to clients succinctly and in a timely manner. • Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions. • Stay up-to-date on legislative changes affecting immigration. • Develop solutions to complex legal questions. • Train client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and immigration law and regulation updates. • Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support client projects. • Communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case-processing issues and case strategy. • Assess corporate foreign national employees’ eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the U.S. • Work with global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel. • Prepare petitions and applications for submission to the Department of Labor (DOL) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). • Supervise paralegal staff work in record keeping and document preparation.

🎯 Requirements

• Possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school, demonstrate a strong academic background, and be admitted to a US state bar in good standing. • Some experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs a plus • Bilingual is a plus. • High-level organizational skills. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Strong time management and attention to detail, alongside the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm setting. • Adaptability and willingness to learn across various practice areas. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. • Ability to independently work on daily tasks, proactively, and with minimal supervision.
