📋 Description

• Provide the highest company-wide level of technical claim-handling for Property, Collapse, Earth Movement, and loss of building and structures claims • Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex property claims • Support the team as technical supervisor in the manager’s absence • Assist with Regional audits • Mentor less experienced Claim Representatives • Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Claim Manager or Director • Perform inspections of sites and properties, including roofs, basements, and attics

🎯 Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience • Seven (7) years of claim experience, including three years experience in handling complex claim files • Knowledge of current claims laws, specifically civil and tort law • Knowledge of current trends in Property insurance case law and issues • Good working knowledge of mathematics and common accounting practices related to gross and net income or living-expense calculations • Strong negotiation skills • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts and policy-contract interpretation in writing and orally • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work under pressure of critical deadlines • Ability to perform inspections of sites and properties, including roofs, basements, and attics, using ladders or stairs and kneeling, crawling, and bending as needed • Maintain a valid California Driver License and operate a vehicle • Must reside in the Central Valley (Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield territory) • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
