• Facilitate workflow analysis and improvement, helping groups understand current workflows and identify redesign opportunities • Coordinate technical and application resources to evaluate system and process changes • Guide change-management evaluations in a large academic healthcare institution • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and activities • Maintain issue lists, build and decision documentation, meeting minutes, agendas, status reports, and other project tools • Facilitate cross-functional teams involving employees, technical support, operations, vendors, clinicians, hospital administration, and end users • Provide project updates and status reports to IS management and escalate issues when needed • Provide outstanding end-user support and promote adoption of change-management policies and procedures • Facilitate technology analysis and improvement • Define current technology profiles and future needs with stakeholder groups • Define technical criteria for vendor-solution selection and coordinate vendor selection • Acquire domain knowledge to identify project requirements and issues • Recruit expert resources to evaluate state-of-the-art technology
• Bachelor's degree in a related field • 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred • Master's degree preferred • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification preferred • Experience managing technology projects in healthcare, academic medical centers, or highly regulated environments • Experience leading enterprise software implementations, upgrades, or system optimization initiatives • Familiarity with Epic and/or other digital health technologies • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies • Experience with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or similar project management tools • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities while maintaining quality and timelines • Stakeholder management experience with executive leadership, clinical teams, operational departments, and technical teams • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences • Experience with organizational change management, process improvement, and workflow optimization • Knowledge of healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA • Experience managing vendor relationships, statements of work, contract deliverables, and implementation partners • Ability to identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues • Experience supporting digital transformation or patient engagement initiatives
