📋 Description

• Partner with product, accounting, treasury, finance, and data engineering teams to understand reporting impacts and design data requirements, data models, business logic, and reporting layers • Develop understanding of financial and accounting processes and make inner workings transparent • Build frameworks and systems to identify issues, lead triage and resolution, and design preventative solutions • Build scalable automated solutions using SQL, Superset, reporting tools, scripting languages, and AI • Share results with larger audiences to educate them on engineering and financial systems • Partner with accounting and treasury to solve data problems arising from new opportunities and regulations • Support Circle’s financial reporting and regulatory compliance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) • 5+ years of experience in data analytics • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, such as R or Python, for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling • Experience with bank reporting, business banking, financial services, or other similar industries • Strong communication skills and ability to explain systems to non-technical audiences and potentially regulators • Strong collaboration skills across product, product engineering, data engineering, finance, accounting, and treasury • Strong sense of ownership and accountability • Ability to work in the United States, as the posting is listed as “remote first in US”
