Circular Action Alliance is an organization working to create a circular economy for paper and packaging. It coordinates producer-funded recycling programs, submits program plans under extended producer responsibility laws (for example SB 54 in California), and invests in recycling access and responsible end markets. The organization provides resources for producers (registration, producer resource center, fee-setting consultation, steering committee) and is active in multiple U. S. states including California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Maine, Maryland and Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Lead business needs analysis sessions to define and document solution requirements, detailed user stories, user personas, and acceptance criteria • Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to align state and national business requirements into cohesive technology solutions • Conduct impact analysis, data flow mapping, and feasibility assessments • Analyze and model business processes, workflows, user flows, and data structures to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies • Participate in evaluating and selecting technology solutions • Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities for scalable, value-driven solutions • Participate in test planning, use case development, and solution validation • Support solution design, testing, and deployment of system enhancements, upgrades, and fixes • Review and support user guides, training materials, and process documentation • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to business analysis standards and best practices • Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability through production deployment • Develop and maintain BRDs, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts • Support backlog prioritization and requirements refinement • Maintain documentation including user stories, requirements, test cases, and release notes • Use Jira, Lucidchart, and IT PMO tools for backlog management, progress tracking, and workflow visualization • Contribute to IT PMO templates, processes, and agile delivery practices • Report to the Director IT PMO and Portfolio Management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • 7+ years of Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Requirements Management, or business-facing solution delivery experience • 5+ years of experience supporting the design, delivery, and maintenance of solutions • Experience with solution delivery methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall • Strong experience in business process analysis, process design, and capability mapping • Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, ERP, CRM, Data & Analytics, Integration, or Customer Portal solutions • Experience identifying, evaluating, and delivering AI-enabled business solutions • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business and technical teams in a global environment • Experience working in a completely remote organization is a plus • Experience in the Health Insurance or Supply Chain industries is a plus
