📋 Description

• Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Infrastructure Operations Engineers, and Systems Administrators • Support team members through day-to-day challenges and mentor them in infrastructure technologies and best practices • Help team members develop their careers and manage performance • Oversee operations and maintenance of cloud-based, hybrid, and data centre infrastructure • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize system performance • Keep systems running smoothly in a highly regulated environment • Collaborate with platform, security, application, and infrastructure teams to solve complex problems and align priorities • Champion automation and infrastructure-as-code practices • Reduce manual operational work and streamline deployment and operational workflows • Support adoption of modern DevOps and cloud operations best practices • Establish clear communication during incidents • Keep stakeholders informed about system status and technical updates • Support secure, reliable cloud services for U.S. government customers in the Webex for Government environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 8 years of relevant cloud operations or DevOps engineering experience, including 3+ years in a team lead or supervisory role; OR Master's degree plus 6 years of experience, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity • 2+ years of experience leading or supervising technical teams, including mentoring and performance management • Experience operating production cloud/hybrid environments • Experience leading incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions in a 24x7 setting • Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code for infrastructure deployments and operational workflows, such as Terraform or comparable tooling • Experience working with security/compliance to support FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and/or SOC 2-aligned environments • Preferred: experience leading multidisciplinary cloud teams • Preferred: experience operating AWS infrastructure, including Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code solutions • Preferred: hands-on experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Python, shell scripting, or comparable technologies • Preferred: knowledge of FedRAMP continuous monitoring and related security/compliance practices • Preferred: experience owning operational readiness and high-severity processes, including on-call rotation management, runbooks, monitoring, support models, and onboarding standards • Must be a U.S. citizen working on U.S. soil
