📋 Description

• Provide OPEX support to the Splunk Product Organization • Support Engineering leadership prioritization and decision making • Support portfolio planning, annual budgeting, quarterly commit processes, month-end and quarterly close activities, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and compliance • Partner with Engineering and Product Management leadership, HR, talent acquisition, and accounting to establish best practices • Model headcount costs and discretionary expenses • Identify opportunities and recommend pulling back or accelerating spend based on team priorities • Improve forecasting accuracy through enhanced data analytics and cross-functional collaboration • Support monthly close processes, including accruals, variance analysis, and PO, invoice, and requisition approvals • Perform ad-hoc analyses • Assess GAAP and Cisco accounting policy impacts on expense forecasts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business-related field with 3+ years of proven experience • Intermediate Excel skills • Proficiency with finance ERPs and financial planning software, such as Oracle Hyperion Essbase, NetSuite, or Anaplan • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Previous OpEx or COGS experience preferred • SaaS business experience • Ability to drive process improvements and automation
