📋 Description

• Provide technically competent Loss Control Services in accordance with company policies and procedures • Provide support services within territory to help acquire and retain profitable business • Manage a state-wide territory in Connecticut • Survey and service commercial risks for workers' compensation coverage • Originate and manage all service account scheduling and activities • Meet or exceed all service standards • Accomplish risk improvement by providing management consultation services • Develop recommendations for hazard control • Provide direct support services to the insureds • Conduct loss control services and training for customers • Participate in team activities designed to help retain accounts • Maintain specialized knowledge of relevant codes and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • at least 13 years of loss control experience working for a major writer of workers' compensation insurance • Strong workers' compensation knowledge • Ability to conduct training programs and classes for clients • Basic knowledge of underwriting and product management skills • Broad knowledge of commercial lines of insurance coverage • Engineering principles and loss control concepts • Safety standards and codes • Strong consideration for candidates with industry designations (ARM, CPCU, Certified Engineering Technician, Certified Safety Professional) • Extensive use of computers and software programs
