📋 Description

• Conduct education verification investigations following established processes and guidelines • Perform comprehensive research using the Internet and other resources • Request and follow up on education record verifications through phone, fax, mail, email, and online databases • Communicate with applicants and educational institutions to obtain information • Record precise investigation data in appropriate formats and databases • Consistently meet departmental production standards • Manage competing demands and ensure goals are achieved • Exercise independent judgment and resourcefulness to complete client requests • Support other Education Investigators and work closely with all departments • Complete special assignments or projects as requested • Perform other duties and assist with department needs as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School required • Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), state and federal law, and PreCheck guidelines • Ability to conduct thorough and accurate primary source education verification investigations • Ability to perform comprehensive Internet research and use various resources • Ability to request education records via phone, fax, mail, email, and online databases • Ability to communicate by phone with applicants and educational institutions • Ability to record precise data in various databases • Ability to meet departmental production standards • Time-management skills to manage competing demands and achieve goals • Independent judgment and resourcefulness • Ability to support Education Investigators and collaborate with all departments
