📋 Description

• Direct all phases of client programs from inception through completion • Manage program cost, implementation, and performance • Participate in contract and contract-change negotiations • Coordinate business plans, work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and contract financial terms • Align development processes with market trends, program goals, and client needs • Act as primary customer contact and lead program review sessions • Develop new business or expand the product line with clients • Analyze program problem and opportunity areas and evaluate options • Evaluate performance and recommend marketing actions • Establish milestones and monitor program plans and schedules • Identify program problems and obtain solutions, including resource allocation or contractual specification changes • Determine profitability and viability of new products or program enhancements • Develop strategies and tactics for effective program performance across the program life cycle • Direct work across technical, marketing, operations, analytics, and administrative functions • Manage large programs or portfolios of smaller client contracts • Contribute to or lead contract creation and execute contracts for compliance and client satisfaction • Direct and coordinate multifunctional teams of 10–30 people • Manage people, including other program managers, contractors, and a 2–5-person span of control • Lead process and tool improvement • Create technical content and intellectual property when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Michigan • Relevant work experience plus 8+ years project management • 5+ years people management • Bachelor’s degree, MS or MBA preferred • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
