📋 Description

• Create trustworthy, easy-to-understand health information content for Cleveland Clinic’s website • Write accurate, high-quality medical content consistent with Cleveland Clinic’s brand voice • Research health topics and/or interview clinical sources • Translate complex medical and scientific information into accessible language for patients and the general public • Create diverse weekly assignments supporting the editorial team • Collaborate with SEO, operations, graphics, Marketing & Communications, and teams throughout Cleveland Clinic • Incorporate edits from SEO experts and medical reviewers into finished copy • Create content such as email newsletters, podcast hosting, video scripts and special projects • Participate in editorial reviews, paid content campaigns, internal communications, physician reviewer interactions and email campaigns • Meet writing deadlines and manage competing priorities • Engage with peers and share successes and failures to promote collective learning • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Three years of experience writing, editing, researching and preparing material for publication OR High School/GED and seven years of experience OR Associate’s degree and five years of experience • Experience with Microsoft Office suite • Understanding style guides and SEO keyword best practices • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, prioritize, solve problems and set expectations • Ability to do computer work for extended periods • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information • Must comply with Cleveland Clinic’s influenza prevention program, including annual vaccination or approved exemption • Employment offers are followed by testing for controlled substances
