📋 Description

• Support enterprise-wide inventory management and purchasing operations for Main Campus and Family Health Centers • Purchase medications, supplies, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and specialized supplies for compounding pharmacy operations • Manage inventory and process invoices • Place all sourced orders for assigned vendors • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned vendors and process issues related to sourced items • Organize, facilitate updates, and retain product information files and purchase order records • Improve operations by optimizing inventory, maintaining critical medication supplies, decreasing turnaround times, and streamlining work processes • Secure reasons for price changes and challenge unjustified changes • Obtain appropriate vendor paperwork and update information systems • Resolve invoice price discrepancies and convert purchases to compliant purchases • Communicate issue status to appropriate staff • Coordinate with sourcing teams to process updates promptly and facilitate an efficient procure-to-pay process • Maintain professional and ethical relationships with vendor representatives according to established principles and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must reside in Ohio or Florida • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, pharmacy or a related field and minimum two years purchasing or related experience OR an additional four (4) years of supply chain experience or pharmacy experience specifically related to inventory control may offset the degree requirement • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) • Upon hire, registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy • Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required within 6 months • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment • Ability to sit, stand, and walk to various locations throughout the health system as needed • Normal or corrected vision • Ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person • Own transportation required due to travel to multiple sites • Ability to follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required • Successful controlled-substance testing after offer of employment • Compliance with the annual influenza prevention program, including vaccination or approved exemption
