📋 Description

• Pursue ambitious research alongside ClickHouse Labs researchers and engineers • Explore meaningful research questions and develop new ideas • Investigate technologies relevant to databases, systems, and data infrastructure • Collaborate with experienced researchers on work aligned with academic interests and ClickHouse Labs priorities • Engage with ClickHouse’s open-source technology and engineering community • Share findings and contribute to the broader research community • Develop research projects based on existing research, academic papers, prototypes, systems, or ClickHouse Labs priorities • Potentially contribute to co-authored papers, thesis advising, open-source projects, or other academic collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD in computer science or a closely related field • Conducting research in areas relevant to ClickHouse • Demonstrated research excellence • Strong database systems, distributed systems, hardware, or related technical background • Ability to independently pursue complex research questions • Prior experience with ClickHouse open source is ideal but not required • Research, prototypes, or publications that could translate into meaningful work with ClickHouse • Interest in continuing research beyond the internship • Potential interest in open-source contribution and academic collaboration
