📋 Description

• Own sourcing and negotiation for purchases across multiple spend categories • Lead vendor negotiations covering commercial terms, pricing, discounts, payment terms, ramps, and renewal protections • Run competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), build bid comparisons, and make recommendations • Prepare negotiations using benchmarks, usage data, and walk-away positions; document outcomes and savings • Own category renewal calendars and prevent surprise auto-renewals • Guide purchase requests through the full intake-to-pay process • Coordinate with Legal on contracts, Security on vendor risk and data reviews, IT on provisioning/access, and Finance on budgets, POs, and accruals • Manage supplier onboarding, including documentation, tax forms, banking verification, and system records • Maintain auditable transaction records • Analyze purchasing and spend data for consolidation opportunities, duplicate or underused tools, pricing outliers, and category trends • Report on savings, cost avoidance, cycle time, and spend under management • Support annual and quarterly budget planning with spend insights and renewal forecasts • Improve the internal buying experience through clearer guidance, faster turnaround, less friction, and better self-service • Advise the business on procurement policy, thresholds, and purchasing questions

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of sourcing, procurement, or strategic purchasing experience, including hands-on vendor negotiation • Exceptional attention to detail • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience • Strong finance fundamentals • Customer-service orientation toward internal stakeholders • Self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in an evolving function and fast-moving industry • Excellent written and verbal communication • Credibility to negotiate with senior vendor counterparts • Experience sourcing in a high-growth technology or SaaS company is specially considered • Familiarity with P2P platforms, CLM, ERP, and spend visibility tools is specially considered • Working knowledge of contract terms and third-party risk concepts, including DPAs/GDPR, SOC 2/security review, insurance requirements, and AI/data-use terms is specially considered • Experience supporting a global, multi-entity business, including multi-currency purchasing, international suppliers, and regional tax/invoicing requirements, is specially considered
