📋 Description

• Serve as a team member on customer projects involving design, architecture, integration, implementation, and documentation • Conduct research, benchmarking, performance and functional testing, reference architecture, sizing, migration, integration, development, and tooling • Provide case-initiated consultative support to strategic users, customers, and prospects • Assist with implementation, onboarding, production launches, and Proofs of Concept • Provide architectural, technical, and migration assistance, including hands-on tasks • Handle L1 to L3 support cases and communications when not assigned to customer projects • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales on the product roadmap and account plans • Develop public and internal documentation, knowledge-base articles, learning content, reference architectures, blogs, and benchmark results • Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members • Provide high-quality 24x7 support in a global, distributed environment

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, and/or Project Management roles • 5+ years of relevant industry experience implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed database management systems • Technical breadth and depth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, system or network administration, and big data • Experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with multiple experienced engineers • Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-a-service offerings such as EC2 • Experience with ClickHouse, OSS/open-source technologies, cloud platforms, and data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ is a bonus • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a customer-facing role • Availability for scheduling and on-call needs in a global, distributed environment • Willingness to travel onsite regionally up to an estimated 35%
