📋 Description

• Administer and deploy VMware vSphere v7.0 and Horizon View 8 • Design and document new infrastructure deployments • Manage systems supporting a Navy client in a secure, modernized computer environment • Ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available • Configure and maintain virtual desktops • Monitor systems and perform performance management • Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network • Turn metrics into actionable information and communicate their meaning • Collaborate with the team to share techniques, solve challenges, and develop methodologies

🎯 Requirements

• Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance • High school diploma or equivalent • 3 years of relevant experience • Experience with electronic documentation • Experience in system administration • Experience in network administration • Security+ certification OR qualifying bachelor's degree to meet DoD8140 DCWF WRC 451 requirements • Experience supporting DoD network systems • Experience with Dell or Cisco UCS server management • Experience implementing VMware and Windows STIGs • Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, or NaviCLI • Experience with EMC VNX, XtremIO, or Unity storage arrays using fiber channel or FCoE • Knowledge of DoD security compliance auditing, DoD hardening, RMF, STIGs, and PKI • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field • VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization Certification or higher
