📋 Description

• Assist developers with evaluating software developed for Veterans Affairs • Help build test plans with test cases based on user stories • Generate test data using manual processes • Execute test cases to evaluate software performance • Document test results • Communicate defects to the development team • Support software improvement efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. • Must live in the US and have maintained a permanent residence in the US for at least the last 3 consecutive years (36 months) • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information • Experience with test methodologies, QA process, and the software release cycle • Knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking • Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts • Ability to apply appropriate test methodologies, including writing test plans and test cases • Experience with JIRA • Experience with Selenium • Experience in an Agile working environment • Knowledge of operating systems and networking • Availability to support extended core hours on a rotating schedule, Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–10:00 PM ET, and Sunday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM ET, excluding holidays
