📋 Description

• Draft, review, and manage sales contracts for compliance with company policies and legal requirements • Customize contract clauses for specific business conditions, counterparties, or projects • Verify, book, and affirm daily transactions across environmental products and derivatives • Track invoicing, payments, product receipt, delivery, and completed settlement • Reconcile cash and position records against booked transactions and resolve discrepancies • Liaise with accounting and administrative teams to deliver accurate outcomes • Monitor operational risk and credit exposure and propose mitigation strategies • Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and internal guidelines • Calculate daily profit and loss figures and support portfolio managers and the front office team • Maintain organized contract and transaction records • Prepare reports and summaries covering contractual requirements, obligations, and budgets • Support front office communications and respond to inquiries about orders, agreements, and data reports • Manage recurring transaction workflows, deadlines, and outstanding items • Manage QAQC processes during project execution • Develop expertise across the transaction lifecycle and environmental product set • Teach colleagues subject matter and consulting basics and help optimize project processes • Assist with filing, documentation, correspondence, audit support, and other administrative work • Maintain and improve contract templates, trackers, and reporting tools • Build a culture of collaboration, intellectual curiosity, accountability, and empathy

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a related field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, etc.) • 2–3 years of professional work experience in transaction support, trade operations, contract administration, or accounting • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Comfortable building and auditing financial or emissions models in Excel • Experience with contract management, CRM, or ERP platforms such as Salesforce or NetSuite • Working knowledge of environmental commodity markets, including EACs, carbon credits, and related derivatives • Foundational understanding of accounting concepts, including invoicing, accruals, settlement, and reconciliation • Familiarity with risk management practices, compliance standards, and internal control expectations • Able to analyze and interpret complex legal and commercial documents • Excellent communication, teaching, public speaking, and facilitation skills • Analytical thinker and fast learner; comfortable with qualitative and quantitative problems, spreadsheets, approximations, and engineering assumptions • Able to travel occasionally (5–10% of time) • Passion for helping businesses address global challenges, including climate change • Empathetic team player committed to an inclusive company culture • Interest in contributing to a fast-growing global sustainability company • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire
