📋 Description
• Analyze and process complex FOIA requests, appeals, and litigation cases • Conduct disclosure reviews and determine appropriate FOIA exemptions • Prepare Vaughn indices and litigation support documentation • Review and redact sensitive records • Draft FOIA correspondence and release packages • Support agency appeals and litigation activities • Coordinate with agency stakeholders and legal counsel • Mentor junior analysts and conduct quality reviews
🎯 Requirements
• Must reside within the U.S. • Bachelor's Degree • Minimum 10 years of FOIA experience • Demonstrated expertise in FOIA disclosure review and exemption analysis • Experience reviewing large volumes of electronic records • Relativity or eDiscovery experience (preferred) • FOIA litigation and appeals experience (preferred) • Privacy Act and HIPAA experience (preferred) • CMS or HHS experience (preferred)
