📋 Description

• Take the Windows agent from proof of concept to a signed, installable, auto-updating Windows product • Own the WFP callout driver using KMDF and C/C++ • Own the user-mode Go relay and keep it synchronized with the shared capture core • Handle production kernel-mode driver signing, EV certificates, Microsoft attestation, and Secure Boot • Build the MSI or MSIX installer, update path, clean uninstall path, and enterprise deployment story • Design fail-open behavior so non-AI traffic never touches the code and failures never break the endpoint • Manage local CA trust and TLS interception safely, transparently, and reversibly • Build the endpoint client in Electron and TypeScript • Partner with product on Windows agent customer experience and macOS parity • Provide code reviews, design feedback, and direct mentorship

🎯 Requirements

• Deep Windows systems experience shipping software that runs as a Windows service, driver, or endpoint agent • Kernel-mode or low-level Windows development experience with KMDF or WDM • Experience with the Windows Driver Kit • Comfort debugging with WinDbg • Working knowledge of Windows networking internals and Windows Filtering Platform or comparable traffic interception • Proficiency in C or C++ for driver development • Proficiency in Go or another systems language for user-mode development • Ability to read and reason about code in an unfamiliar language • Experience spanning a kernel driver to a desktop UI, or awareness of strengths and areas for team support • Hands-on experience with Windows code signing, Authenticode, EV certificates, Microsoft attestation or WHQL • Track record shipping endpoint software to machines outside one's control • Experience designing for failure, cleanup, and least privilege • Judgment regarding when kernel-level solutions are appropriate • Track record of shipping software • Current location must be in the United States; CloudZero can only hire US residents • Must answer US visa/work sponsorship questions
