📋 Description

• Oversee management of the overall construction site, including subcontractors and suppliers • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on the critical path to ensure timely completion • Advocate for and enforce CMC standard operating procedures on the project • Maintain a safe, organized, and OSHA-compliant work site • Create and manage the project schedule with the project manager, including six-week look-ahead schedules • Maintain Procore records, daily logs, and photo logs of project activities • Perform quality control duties for work being performed • Communicate with the project team regarding bulletins, RFIs, and material submittals • Ensure subcontractors execute and comply with their contracted scope of work • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and assist in securing permits from local authorities having jurisdiction • Walk the entire jobsite multiple times per day to monitor activities and coordinate future planning • Preside over weekly subcontractor coordination meetings • Provide project coverage as needed to accommodate the project schedule • Perform progress and completion punch-list identification and completion • Mentor and coach the design/build team • Manage facility start-up • Manage third-party testing and inspection • Travel to projects throughout the United States, including extended-stay travel

🎯 Requirements

• Construction Management or Engineering Degree preferred but not required with significant career experience • 15+ years of experience in construction management for building construction • Ground-up project experience and tenant improvement project experience required • Experience with cold storage insulated metal building envelopes required • Experience with industrial refrigeration systems required • Proven record of successful execution of $20M–70M+ projects • 30 hour OSHA certification will be required • First Aid/AED/CPR certification will be required • NFPA certification will be required • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills • Mastery in reading and understanding plans, specs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Strong attention to detail and communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members from all levels of the organization • Reliable, attentive, and eager to learn more about the construction industry • Familiarity with computers and internet usage • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore • Ability to travel and be away from home for up to 12 days at a time • Familiarity with Lean practices beneficial but not required • Familiarity with BIM models and clash detection beneficial but not required
